Today, I’ve spent some of my Saturday going through some old photo albums and reminiscing on some memories. The last two days I’ve had nostalgia about New York, but also about being very happy where God has me.

I haven’t been back to New York in over ten years, and I sometimes miss the accessibility of walking, or bicycling without being reliant on a car, but on the other hand I sometimes miss running wild in Mississippi during the hot summers without a care.

I’m grateful for how far God has carried me. Being able to experience love,travel and opportunities, regardless of where I started💜…. I’m Full 💜

Been sick most of this week. Been taking time out to rest, refocus & listen for what God desires out of me in May. Building mental agility requires us to renew our minds consistently. Although I have not been my best this week, I thank God for the time to reflect, relax and focus on going forward. 💜

Oooooo um this being a consistent lifestyle thing is different when you do it for the right reasons. I lost 40 something pounds in 2022 and got down to my goal weight of 124, but gained it all back when I didn’t know how properly maintain it. One thing that has been a major life change for me is allowing the Holy Spirit to help me implement self control. Emotional eating was a big thing for me & not always because I had bad emotions, but after long days it was easier to eat what my kids ate than be intentional. Now I’m not focused on the scale, I’m focused on how I feel in my clothes & building strength not just physically, but mentally 💜

Being in my 30’s has allowed me to understand boundaries for myself from deeper perspective.

✅No you don’t have to agree with the boundaries I set for myself, & NO I will not change them to fit your narrative.

✅What works for me may not work for you & that’s ok

- Certain things will just not be tolerated whether personal or business.

Learning to only accept God’s best. If I can’t run it by Jesus then it’s simply a no for me 🤷🏽‍♀️ certain things will just not be tolerated.

Stop trying to be Jesus for people who don’t even want Jesus himself.

You are not called to be a savior to anyone. You are called to be salt in the earth. Emulate the love of God to those around you. Allow God to use you to plant the seeds but move out of his way so that he may water them.
