Mornin’ pumpkin 🧡🎃

It is a chilly morning here in south GA which fills my soul with joy. The cool morning won’t last long but I will soak it in while I can!

Our little greenhouse lizard was covered in dew this morning and it was just the most precious thing 🥰 I even caught a sweet bumble bee pollinating the garden as well!

When life gives you a loaf of bread that isn’t your favorite…. Turn it into homemade bread crumbs! They are delicious!

Tonight we made parmesan crusted pork chops with parmesan garlic sweet potatoes 🧡😍 So delicious!

Last week Dustin came home with this sweet boy and he has been taking on a lot of our attention. The boys love him and have been big helpers with taking care of him.

This weekend consisted of testing a ton of new recipes. Baking and cooking have been a huge part of our weekend routine as we try to find recipes for our favorite foods and replace the processed store bought food.

This weekend I made zucchini bread, pretzels, bagels, and wheat bread. Everything is delicious and definitely going to be added to our recipe list. I still have a lot of practice when it comes to perfecting these recipes but getting started is the biggest hurdle.

Knowing what is in our food and how it is cooked has taken off a big weight of worry when it comes to feeding our family. I can’t wait to keep adding to our family recipes. Now onto figuring out sourdough starters and recipes with sourdough!
