We are reaching out in an effort to get ahead of Hurricane Idalia. This storm is entering the Gulf of Mexico and is expected to be a Major Hurricane when it makes Florida landfall. Many of the following protocols are SOP with the nature of our business and are considered expectations within our relationship BUT with a potential storm impact, our senses need to be heightened.
Over the next 24 hours while we watch the storm's path, we are asking for your assistance as well as your field teams. Please review the following initiatives where we need assistance on homes we are currently working in and roofs as well. Our timeline is for a hard stop of all employees and vendors at 2:00pm on Tuesday. Safety of our teams is paramount with the security of our assets a close second.
Active Renovations:
Make sure that all windows and doors are locked prior to exiting the home daily
Make sure the home is properly secured and that there are no voids from exterior to interior
Make sure all construction debris and tools are not left outside
If you have a current work order for debris removal or have construction debris on site, please plan to have it removed from the property by Tuesday evening.
If there are any limbs or branches or lawn ornaments, please dispose of those as well
If there are trash cans and recycle cans outside, please empty them, rinse them and move them to the garage. If there is no garage, please empty them, rinse them and move them within the front door.
Please make sure that all roofs in progress are completed by Tuesday
Please make sure that there are no homes with roofing materials dropped on the roof or driveway
Please do not drop any materials at properties until further notice
If there are materials already, please remove them as they could become a hazard in high winds
If you have a tarp on any roofs, please plan a visit by Monday evening and reinforce/ secure the tarp the best you can.
Please make sure that any and all auto-fills are turned OFF. We will turn them back on post storm at the weekly maintenance visit.
