We are searching for a dynamic, caring, and professional nurse to join our Management Team at The Cottages at Rockmart. This unique position will oversee the Wound Care for our residents as well as complete Admissions for new residents and return from hospital admissions. Some responsibilities include:
Provide Primary Skin Care: treatment and therapy of skin disorders for residents under the supervision of a Physician, Director of Nursing, and/or contracted Wound Care Company.
Perform Clinical Admission: initiate clinical assessments, charting and evaluations of new admissions, including re-admissions from the hospital.
Complete Administrative Duties: maintain reports, studies, and charting as assigned for Wound Care policies and procedures. Some on-call duties required.

We are searching for an dynamic, energetic, devoted, caring nurse to join our Management Team at The Cottages at Rockmart. This position requires an RN with flexibility, commitment and self initiative with successful leadership skills a must. Managerial experience required. Our campus offers a unique culture of skilled nursing * REAL HOME * MEANINGFUL LIFE * EMPORWERED STAFFING * Some responsibilities include:
Participation in Quality Assurance Programing
Supervise and Evaluate the Performance of Nursing Department including direct over sight of Nurses and Care Companions (CNAs)
Assists with implementation of policies and regulations that govern the day to day functions of Nursing Department
Ensure in-service/education training programs (i.e. HIPPA, Abuse Prevention, Safety, OSHA, etc) are current and meet the continuing education requirements for Nursing Department
Review resident care plans and assist with development of comprehensive assessments including risk assessments for long and short term goals
Communicate effectively with residents, families and staff
Some varying hours due to Call Rotation for Staffing
Perform other duties as assigned by the Administrator
