We Have The Means
It might be hard to think of hunger as a real problem in America. Yet every day, 41 million Americans struggle to put food on the table. Considering the amount of food waste in the U.S (up to 40% of food in the US is never eaten!) something doesn’t add up. What We Do
We’ve deployed 3 initiatives in our fight against food insecurity. We provide hunger relief to families through our food co-op program. We distribute brown bag lunches during the summer break. For year-round support, Satisfeed provides emergency nutrition for children with weekend-rescue backpacks. And all of these efforts begin with food rescue.
