My dad started getting headaches before his eye surgery.
And no… it wasn’t his eyes.
After surgery, posture changes, stress, guarding patterns, and inflammation can cause the neck and upper traps to tighten up. That tension can irritate the nerves at the base of the skull — leading to headaches that feel like they’re coming from the eyes.
Today I:
✔️ Adjusted his cervical spine
✔️ Worked on his upper trapezius
✔️ Reduced tension around the suboccipital muscles
When the neck moves better and the muscles relax, pressure decreases — and headaches often improve.
A lot of people don’t realize this:
Headaches aren’t always a “head problem.”
Many times, they’re a neck and muscle problem.
If you’ve had:
• Eye surgery
• Increased screen time
• Chronic tension
• Stress-related headaches
Your neck may be the missing piece.
