✨ Grateful for Allah’s Blessings on My 50th Birthday ✨

Today, I humbly thank Allah (SWT) for granting me 50 years of life, love, lessons, and endless blessings. Every step of this journey has been a testament to His mercy and guidance, and I am filled with gratitude for the health, wisdom, and strength He has bestowed upon me.

To my parents, siblings, children, family and friends…your love, prayers, and support have been some of the greatest gifts of my life. You are living reminders of Allah’s generosity, and I pray that He continues to bless you all abundantly.

I also want to honor the incredible vessel through which Allah brought me into this world…my beloved mother. Her love, sacrifices, and prayers have shaped me into the person I am today. She has been my first teacher, my comfort, and my constant reminder of Allah’s mercy and grace.

Mama, I celebrate you today as much as I celebrate this milestone. Your strength, faith, and unwavering love are treasures I will carry with me always.

As I step into this new chapter, I ask Allah to guide my steps, strengthen my faith, and allow me to continue serving and loving those around me. Alhamdulillah for 50 beautiful years, and Insha’Allah, for whatever lies ahead.

Here are a few tips to⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇⬇

Drink a glass of water before you begin to eat.

🚫Don’t fill up on bread🍞 save your appetite for portions of food you really want to eat.

🚫Don’t waste your calories on foods that you can have all year long, Fill your plate with small portions of holiday favorites that only come around once a year so you can enjoy desirable, traditional foods.

Skip the Seconds.
Try to resist the temptation to go back for second helpings. ..Lol I said TRY😣

Leftovers are much better the next day, and if you limit yourself to one plate, you are less likely to overeat and have more room for a delectable dessert.

Choose the Best Bets on the Buffet.
While each of us has our own favorites, keep in mind that some holiday foods are better choices than others.

🚨White turkey meat, plain vegetables, roasted sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, defatted gravy, and pumpkin pie tend to be the best bets because they are LOWER in fat and calories...but if you keep your portions small, you can enjoy whatever you like.
