: CPSC Warns Consumers to Immediately Stop Using Uoxin Crib Bumpers. The crib bumpers can obstruct an infant’s breathing, posing a risk of serious injury or death from suffocation. Padded crib bumpers are banned under the Safe Sleep for Babies Act.

CPSC issued a Notice of Violation to Yiwu Qimen Electronic Commerce Firm, of China, doing business as online seller Uoxin-Marketplace. The firm has not agreed to recall these crib bumpers or offer a remedy to consumers.

CPSC urges consumers to stop using the crib bumpers immediately and dispose of them. Do not sell or give away these hazardous crib bumpers.

When I lost my daughter, the room fell silent.
Everyone meant well, but no one knew what to say.
The quiet became heavier than the grief.

People told me to be strong.
“Life happens.”
“You’ll have another.”

But what I really needed was someone to sit beside me and not say a word.
I didn’t want to be fixed.
I just didn’t want to be alone.

That season taught me that the village you choose matters more than the one you were born into.
Because sometimes, healing starts with the people who find you after everything falls apart.
