I’m taking my time this month.
No rushing. No scrambling. No pressure.

I’m using **January to clearly map out my expectations for the year**—month by month. Because I still have **11 whole months ahead of me**, and I want to be sure that every monthly goal actually lines up with the life I’m trying to create.

This season isn’t about speed… it’s about **alignment**.
It’s about being **deliberate**, **intentional**, and honest about what I’m saying yes to—and what I’m releasing.

I’m moving with clarity.
I’m moving with purpose.
I’m moving with intention.

“It’s the last day of the 2025 🎉 and if I’m being honest, This year didn’t go exactly how I planned. I didn’t hit every workout goal 💪.
My nutrition, hydration, self care and Some personal goals slipped.
There were highs… 🌟 and there were definitely some lows. ⬇️”
“But instead of staying stuck in what didn’t happen, I’m choosing something different.” ✨ For 2026 🎯
Now I’m not talking the normal new years resolutions, you know all the vows you make at the beginning of the year. “I’m setting my intentions for the new year— 🌱
What’s the difference? A resolution as a firm decision to do or not to do something.
A resolution is stuck in stone, final, unchanging. It doesn’t leave room for error. 🪨
An intention is an aim, plan, or goal.
An intention is something to aim for. It leaves room for adjustment and course correction. It’s breathable. Intentions are still goals, but they’re more flexible. 🌬️

“I’m setting my intentions for the new year—using what I learned,
letting go of what didn’t work this year, and moving forward stronger, not discouraged.” 💫
And here are three tips for you to help you do the same:
Tip 1:
“Reflect without beating yourself up. Lessons > guilt.” 🧠
Tip 2:
“Stop trying to ‘make up’ for last year—start where you are.” 🚶‍♀️
Tip 3:
“Set intentions that fit your real life, not perfection.” ⚖️

Anyone else notice their mood drops right along with the temperature? Yeah… fall hits different.”

One minute I’m crushing my workouts, and the next, it’s dark before dinner and my body’s like, “Nah, we’re done for the day.”The days are shorter, it’s cold, and honestly—my motivation to work out? She starts ghosting me. These shorter days and colder mornings
The lack of sunlight definitely messes with my rhythm. affects my mood, my mindset takes a hit and before I know it, my workouts start to feel like a chore instead of therapy.

But I’ve learned (the hard way) that this is exactly when consistency matters most — not perfection, just showing up for me.

I refuse to let the season win so instead of fighting the season, I’ve learned to flow with it. Here are 4 quick ways I fight back

🌞 Chase the light: I get my workout in before my brain realizes it’s cold, and has time to to talk me out of it — Morning movement sets the tone for my whole day
🧣 Bundle up, don’t back down: Instead of skipping workouts because it’s cold, I’ve learned to layer up and make it part of the experience — cozy hoodie, gloves, and a good playlist make a huge difference.
🔄 Adjust, don’t abandon: When my energy dips, I scale back instead of giving up — maybe a shorter , harder workout, a brisk walk instead of weights. Progress still counts!
💬 Keep the connection and stay social: I lean on accountability —I have to really push myself to get out— I force myself to play winter tennis just to keep moving and not slip into hibernation mode. 🥶🎾

The season might slow me down, but it won’t stop me. Progress just looks different right now — and that’s okay. 🍂💪

As we step deeper into fall, I’m setting intentions that align my spirit, my purpose, and my peace. Here’s what I’m focusing on this month 👇

✨ 1. Strengthen my relationship with God.�More prayer. More gratitude. More listening. I want to move through this month guided, not just grinding. 🙏🏽

💼 2. Grow my business and attract aligned clients.�Show up, serve, and connect with people who are ready for real transformation. My purpose is to help others step into their healthiest, strongest selves.

❤️ 3. Be fully present with family this holiday season.n�Less hustle, more moments that matter — laughter, love, and memories.

🎓 4. Complete the third leg of my certification.�Focused, consistent, and celebrating every step forward. Growth doesn’t stop here.

🪞 5. Reflect and realign for the year ahead.�nTake inventory of what worked, what didn’t, and what needs to shift. 2026 is calling for clarity, confidence, and peace.

“Ladies, we’ve gotta stop thinking lifting weights = looking like a man. ❌
Someone asked how often I lift. When I flipped the question, she said, ‘Oh, I don’t weight train—I don’t want to look like a man.’
Uhh… nope! Can’t say that I do. 😅 Building that kind of muscle takes years of heavy training, strict nutrition, and genetics. You don’t just pick up a dumbbell and wake up looking like Arnold.
Truth is—lifting weights builds lean, toned muscle, boosts metabolism, shapes your body, and helps you keep the weight off long-term. 💪🏾
I’ve been at this for over 10 years, and guess what? I don’t look like a man. I look like a strong, confident woman—and that’s exactly what strength training gives you.
