NBA Legend recently donated $1 million dollars to Spelman College. His gift was inspired by his business partner's daughter, Jordyn Hudson, who will be sophomore class president this fall.

This marks his 6th donation of $1M dollars to an HBCU since 2016, as Alabama A&M, Clark Atlanta, Miles, Morehouse & Tuskegee have recieved previous gifts. 👏🏾

Attorney Jonathan C. Grey ‘04 was recently sworn in as a U.S. Magistrate Judge in the Eastern District of Michigan. Along with George J. Hazel '75 (District of Maryland); Julian X. Neals '86 (District of New Jersey) and George L. Russell, III '88 (District of Maryland) he is the fourth Morehouse graduate to currently serve in the federal judiciary.

Grey, a former assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio in Columbus, obtained his undergraduate degree from Morehouse in 2004 and his Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center in 2007. He clerked for Judge W. Louis Sands of the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia from 2009-10 and the late U.S. Appeals Judge Damon Keith from 2010-11. He served as an assistant U.S. attorney in Detroit from 2012-16 before transferring to Ohio.

Judge Grey will serve an eight year term that will end Aug. 23, 2029.
