Where should I begin.. there's so much to share about this fella. He's a fantastic , caring, thoughtful, giving, loving, smart human being. He's my soul mate. Craig and I are praying and totally trusting God for a perfectly matched kidney. He is 0+. Craig has an inherited CKD, now called PKD. His mother dealt with it, and successfully received dialysis for over 10 years. He also has siblings that inherited this disease as well. The great news is that these cyst do not transfer to a new donated kidney. I donated on April 12th 2022, as A+ to a perfectly matched A+ recipient. If Craig and I directly matched, I would have donated directly to him. We are participating in the paired exchange program through Piedmont. Craig is active on the list. We are sharing our story in hopes of connecting with our perfectly matched donor. We're grateful to be active with NKR, but we want to remain proactive with our search.
