Maximize Your Cardio in Only 30-Minutes
When doing a cardio exercise that challenges the muscles, your body burns glycogen stored in the liver. Glycogen is a chemical by-product stored in the liver after the body breaks down carbohydrates. Glycogen turns into fat if the body does not utilize it for producing energy.
Your body has the option to use glycogen stores or fat stores when performing an aerobic activity. However, your body will not use any fat stores until the glycogen stores are used up.
During anaerobic exercise, such as weight lifting, your body can only use glycogen as fuel.
Therefore, in order to get maximum results in only 30-minutes you must create a workout combining fat buring and muscle challenging activities together so that your body burns both glycogen and fat at the same time.
