🎉 Five years. FIVE YEARS. GOD IS FAITHFUL!! 🎉

I honestly could not have written this story myself. Five years ago I stepped out in faith because I couldn't ignore God's calling that kept saying go!

There were moments I didn't know how we would make it. Moments where the work was hard, the nights were long, and I had to trust Him with everything. And every single time, He came through.

He provided the families. He grew the team. He trained up the doulas. He opened doors I didn't even know to knock on. And this week, He let us stand in City Hall and be recognized for the very work He called us to do.🙏🏾

To every mama who trusted us with her birth story, To every doula we trained, To every family who found their village through Full Bloom, Thank you. ❤️

Five years of restoring birth to the Kingdom of God. And we are just getting started.

GOD GETS ALL THE GLORY. Always. 🙌🏾

Mama, can we stop and pray over you for a moment? 🤍

If your birth didn’t go the way you planned… If you left that room carrying something heavy that you don’t want to talk about… If you’ve replayed that day more times than you can count, this prayer is for you.

We’re praying for:
✨ Healing in every place that experience left a wound
✨ Peace that replaces the fear, the anger, and the confusion
✨ Freedom from the guilt of feeling like you should be “over it” by now
✨ Restoration in your body, your mind, and your spirit

Mama, what happened to you was not okay. Your feelings are valid. Your grief is real. And God sees every single tear you’ve cried over it. 🕊️

You are not broken. You are healing.

Black women in America are 4x more likely to experience harm or loss when having their babies. And over 80% of those deaths are preventable.

This week, April 11th–17th, has been officially proclaimed Black Maternal Health Week by the City of Stockbridge, and we are honored to be a part of bringing that recognition to our community here in Georgia.

This is a call to action.

For families, for providers, for policymakers, we all have a role to play to make sure no mama walks into that room alone, unheard, or unprotected.

Yesterday, in the middle of Black Maternal Health Week, we stood in City Hall as the Mayor of Stockbridge issued a proclamation recognizing doulas and community birth workers as essential to public health and maternal safety.

Let that sink in.

Because just weeks ago, in this very same city, we were removed from a hospital while advocating for a mother in labor.

And yet… here we are.

This moment is not just symbolic, it is a shift.

A recognition that birth workers are not optional. That advocacy is not disruptive. That mothers deserve support, autonomy, and respect in the most vulnerable moments of their lives.

We celebrate this milestone—but we are not done.

Because proclamations don’t change outcomes—accountability, action, and systems change do.

To every mother who has been ignored, coerced, dismissed, or harmed…

we see you.

we honor you.

and we will never stop fighting for you. 🖤

Thank you to Mayor Jayden Williams for taking a step forward with us.

Now let’s keep the pressure on.
