🌸 Mama, if you’re planning a hospital birth, advocacy is not optional. It’s non-negotiable!

You deserve to show up informed.

To know your options.

To ask questions, pause decisions, and push back when something doesn’t feel right.

Ask:

• What’s the medical necessity?

• What are the risks and benefits?

• What happens if we do nothing?

Hospital protocol is not the law.

You have the right to make informed choices about your birth.

🌿 And you don’t have to do this alone. A doula helps you advocate — especially when you’re deep in labor and need someone who knows the system.

📥 Save this. Share it with a mama who needs it.

“My baby’s measuring big…” 😳 — sound familiar?

Let’s clear this one up.

Having a “big baby” doesn’t automatically mean you’ll have a harder birth.

Your body was designed to birth the baby it created.

In fact — ultrasound weight estimates can be off by up to 2 pounds!

Here’s what matters more than size:

🌸 Baby’s position

🌸 Your ability to move freely

🌸 A calm, supportive environment

Trust God. Trust your body. Trust His process.

You were perfectly made for this. 💗

Hey mamas, the time comes when those tightenings in your belly will get you pausing like… wait 👀 is this it? 😅

Hold up, let’s clear it up, friend.

Braxton Hicks are your body’s practice waves. They are usually irregular, mild, and they tend to ease with rest, hydration, or a change in position.

True labor contractions?

They grow stronger, last longer, and come closer together even when you slow down.

Either way, there’s no need to panic. 💕

Breathe through it. Drink some water. Tune in to your body.

Your body is wise, and it knows how to prepare for what’s coming.

Every wave is bringing you closer to meeting your baby. 🌸

Save this for later and share with a mama who needs a little reassurance today.

Here’s what I see happen too often: A mama does all the research, creates the plan, feels prepared then ends up with a provider whose habits completely override her wishes. And it breaks my heart every time!

You can have the most beautiful birth plan in the world, but if your provider doesn’t believe in the birth you want? It won’t matter.❌

Before you commit, ask:
🌸 What’s your cesarean rate?
🌸 What’s your induction rate?
🌸 What do you believe about birth?

Choose a provider who will protect your vision. Someone who sees birth the way you do.

✨ Save this and share it with a mama who’s planning her birth in 2026!

Happy New Year! ✨ December closed the year with beautiful beginnings.

As we step into a new year, we’re carrying these moments with us —
standing with families as they welcomed their babies,

Every story mattered.
Every birth was holy.

Y’all… 10K on TikTok??? 🥹

Shout out to God—because whew, He really is the algorithm for me. I’m honestly so humbled and grateful. Thank you to every mama, partner, family, and birth worker who has chosen to be here—to learn, unlearn, ask questions, and believe that birth can be, and should be better. If even one family feels more confident, more informed, or more supported because of something shared here, then it’s all worth it.

So here’s to restoring birth back to God, one conversation, one video, one family at a time. Thank you for trusting me, growing with me, and being part of this community. We’re just getting started.

Friends, birth decisions can move fast and that’s exactly why your words matter 🗣️

Self-advocacy isn’t about being confrontational.

It’s about asking the right questions, slowing things down when needed, and making informed choices that are right for you and your baby.

These are simple phrases, but they carry so much power when you know how and when to use them.

And remember.. having the words is important, but having support alongside you can make all the difference. 🌸

Save this, practice them and share with someone preparing for birth 💕💪🏾🤰🏾

Okay friend, let’s talk about home birth 🌸
Home birth is a safe option. Let’s be clear about that.
Families who choose home birth aren’t being irresponsible — they’re making an informed decision about what’s best for their bodies and their babies.

Home birth midwives are medically trained professionals who specialize in physiological birth. They know what they’re doing and have supported countless families through this process.

🌸 When you choose home birth, you’re choosing fewer interventions, less trauma, and more control over your birth experience.

No one should be shamed for wanting that. 💗

Home birth is a safe and valid choice.

This mama went into labor at 38 weeks less than 24 hours after we did this at her prenatal visit! 🥰

Here are 4 gentle movements you can do at home to prepare yourself for birth:

🌸 Supported Lunges on the Stairs: Opens the mid-pelvis asymmetrically to help rotate baby into a better position and encourages descent by creating space on one side of the pelvis.

🌸 Rebozo Sifting: Relaxes the uterine ligaments and abdominal muscles and helps baby find a more optimal position by softening tension around the pelvis.

🌸 Rotating Hip Flexors (Lying on the Sofa): Releases tight psoas and hip flexors that can restrict baby’s engagement.

🌸 Pelvic Tilts & Hip Circles on the Birth Ball: Encourages baby’s head to settle into an ideal anterior position and keeps the pelvis loose, flexible, and aligned.

God created you with everything you need to birth your baby. You were made for this, but you don’t have to figure it out alone.

Let’s talk about how our doulas can support you through it all. Link in bio to book your consultation. 📥
