The Gardens at the Lake PCH is a personal care home located in Jonesboro, GA dedicated to serving the needs of our residents. We offer 24/7 residential care services, taking a holistic approach to the health and wellness of our clients. Our facility is licensed by the State of Georgia to house up to four (4) residents.

We are looking for a full-time compassionate and dedicated personal care attendant/caregiver to assist us in meeting a wide variety of resident needs on a live-in basis.

Duties:
- Provides oversight and supervision of all residents
- Identifies and records changes in resident conditions
- Plans and prepares three meals per resident per day
- Assists with activities of daily living (ADLs) and medication management
- Coordinates resident appointments, visits, and activities and provides transportation as needed
- Updates and maintains resident files and notes in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Performs general housekeeping duties, including laundry and daily cleaning of bathrooms and kitchen area
- Answers phone and communicates relevant information with other caregivers, nurses, doctors, and loved ones
- Provides companionship to residents and keeps them active and alert
- Identifies any issues with state and regulatory compliance and reports to Administrator
- Must be willing to work rotating weekends
Qualifications:
- Education: high school diploma or equivalent
- Licensure/certifications: valid driver's license, current CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain)
- Experience: at least 1 year of experience working in assisted living or other long-term care facilities (preferred)
- Skills: homemaking, cooking
- Other: clean background check (required)
