I understand fully the frustration of failing or near failing a course or courses! Especially when you work your butt off and it seems like everything is working against you!

I failed one course during nursing school and nearly failed two more before then.

Thankfully I was able to appeal two courses and won. Which is really rare and the grace of God! 🙌🏽

Oh how good it feels to step into a new chapter of my life but I’ll be lying if I didn’t mention the little anxiety I had about it.

It’s the unknown that brings that on for me. I’m a SUPER planner but somethings I can’t plan for. I just have to give it to God. So I prayed about it and gave it Him.

I’m excited to share with you all my next journey 🫶🏽🤍

So when are actually going to start studying?! 👀

✨ Study Tips✨

1. Create a realistic daily study schedule and stick to it

2.Put your phone on DND and keep it across the room until it’s your break time

3. Study for about 2-3 hours daily with 30 mins breaks. Avoid cramming for exams.

4. To avoid cramming, as soon as you learn new material. Review it and study it immediately. Preferably that same day.

5. Pick a self care/study free day of the week for resetting and allowing yourself to have a break!

It’s a different understanding and love exchange as sisters. It’s a blessing to be apart of the most special moment in their lives. To be able to provide endless support, information and love to my friends and their babies. I try to also share this same connection with my NICU parents. Patience and care goes a long way. I just want to provide the same treatment and education i would want if i was having my own child. It’s important to support and protect each other. Especially black mothers.🫶🏽
