What is Constraint Induced Movement Therapy?
Constraint-Induced Movement Therapy, or CI Therapy helps “rewire” the brain in adults after stroke, brain injury or when addressing the physical changes of Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Often these individuals have persistent impaired use of one side of the body. CIMT therapy develops neural pathways in the brain while intensively training motor patterns allowing individuals to improve their motor activities.
