🌿 Your body holds incredible wisdom. It also holds the power to calm your nervous system. When you've experienced trauma , your body can stay in a state of alert long after the danger has passed. Gentle intentional practices can help remind it that you are safe now.

Here are a few ways to use your body to find calm:
✨️Deep steady breathing.
✨️Grounding through your senses. Notice what you can see, hear, smell, taste, and touch.
✨️Placing a hand on your heart to signal safety warmth and comfort.
✨️ Gentle movements, stretching, or walking to release store tension.

Small moments of regulation build trust within your body over time. Healing isn't just about the mind it's about helping your whole self feel safe again.🌻

❌️It was your fault.
✅️Responsibility always lies with the person who harmed never the survivor.

❌️You should "be over it" by now.
✅️Healing is not linear, and there is no timeline.

❌️If you didn't fight back , it wasn't real.
✅️Freezing is a natural survival response, and it is valid.
