Theramones Skin Care: Origin Story

Have you ever been to a new place only to find there were little to no products that suit your needs? Yeah, I know, me too. My name is Athena Blue and I’m the creator of Theramones Skin Care. Being a travel nurse and a world traveler, I found myself in the middle of a harsh northern Wisconsin winter, with no products that suited my skin and hair care needs.

The Wisconsin weather was drying out my skin and hair. As a result of having very few options, I was inspired to make my own skin and hair care products to get me through that frigid, dry winter. Theramones was created out of a need to find natural, protective, and high-quality skin and hair care products that kept my skin and hair moisturized, smelled amazing, and lasted throughout the day.

SPICE was the first oil that I made and it would soon become my signature oil blend. The compliments that I received were overwhelming: coworkers and strangers alike started asking me what I was wearing, why my skin and hair looked and smelled so amazing, and most surprisingly did I sell it? “SELL IT?!” I thought to myself? I shared my SPICE oil with my kids and they had similar reactions. “Mom! You need to sell this,” I recall one of my daughters telling me. So we decided to come together as a family, using our combined skill and talents to launch Theramones as a family business: something for us, by us, from us, for us.

And that is how Theramones Skin Care began!
