Is your baby struggling with this bottle?

➡️ Taking a long time to feed
➡️ Seems to be sucking but they aren’t getting any milk
➡️ Getting frustrated or tired during feeds
➡️ Not gaining weight as expected
➡️ Lip blisters

These are all things I see frequently in my practice with families using this bottle.

It’s probably the ni**le, not your baby. 👶🏽

Instead of tossing the entire bottle the first thing we try is replacing the bottle collar (with Maymom) and the bottle ni**le (with Pigeon).

Your body is not a “standard” size. Your fl**ge shouldn’t be either.

Did you know fl**ges come in different sizes AND shapes?

Ever been told to just starve out your bottle refusing baby so they will eventually have no choice but to take it?🍼😱

This isn’t a game of chicken 🐥. Pressuring your baby or not feeding them is never the answer when they are refusing the bottle. This refusal can turn to complete aversion (which is different than refusal) with this tactic.

Bottle refusal isn’t your baby trying to be difficult. They are refusing because they are struggling and can’t figure out how to take the bottle (even if they previously did at some point).

But ya know what? We can teach them how to take it.

We 💜 working with bottle refusal babies and we can even do it virtually!
