I am a licensed professional counselor, with a certification in perinatal mental health. I provide individual and group counseling to women throughout the Atlanta area. My practice accommodates the needs of all women through a combination of in-person, virtual, and walk and talk sessions. As an expert in maternal mental health, I'm experienced in training other clinicians, birth workers, and healthcare providers on the topic of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. I am also a proud and active board member for the Georgia Chapter of Postpartum Support International (PSI-GA), w ith acommittment to helping increase awareness and lessen the stigma of maternal mental health throughout Georgia.

Please join me in lighting a candle tonight. šŸ•Æļø

On October 15th, candles will be lit around the world for the Wave of Light, a global act of remembrance for babies gone too soon. šŸ•Æļø

Families everywhere will join together lighting a candle at 7 pm in their local time zone, creating a continuous wave of light that circles the globe for 24 hours.

When you light your candle, know that many hearts glow beside yours.

Together, we remember and honor our babies with love. šŸ’›

This October, I recognize and support all the parents who have experienced the loss of a pregnancy, infant, or child.

I am honored that the work I get to do in my practice includes all aspects of the reproductive journey, and sadly this includes the unimaginable pain and grief that loss during this experience can bring. It’s more common than you think - and I’m so sorry if this pain has touched your own life or the life of someone close to you.

Please know there are good resources that provide non-judgmental support, information, and connection with others. Here are two amazing resources:

I’m so excited for this event with The Shift Shop next Thursday, January 26!

The Shift Shop is the creation of Elizabeth O'Brien, a leader in perinatal mental health advocacy in Georgia. I'm also honored to call her my professional mentor and close personal friend.

This launch event is all about celebrating & honoring invisible labor, and talking about how we can help women work ā€œsmarter, not harderā€ in a sustainable way that promotes equity, belonging, and inclusion.

This will be a dynamic and creative event with a facilitated panel discussion, live art, and plenty of opportunities to mingle and network. Come join me!

Tickets are still available and half of the proceeds will go to the Georgia Fund for Perinatal Mental Health!

A facilitated panel discussion of dynamic female business leaders and owners who are running their businesses in a new way.
