IT’S DONE! 💞 I officially finished my first-ever Tunisian crochet project…and unlocked a whole new obsession.

Here’s how it went down:
🔵 Step 1: Sister asks for a hooded scarf.
🔵 Step 2: I kindly redirect her to knit patterns.
🔵 Step 3: She sends me a viral Tunisian crochet pattern instead.
🔵 Step 4: I fall down the rabbit hole, learn a new skill, and low-key love every second.
🔵 Step 5: Immediately start researching the next pattern to make.

January was made for kittens, delicious food and drink, pattern writing, crochet experimenting, and rest. I learned to Tunisian crochet, made 31 unique crochet kitten, and released two patterns!

There’s a lot of heavy things going on in the world right now so documentation of the happy things seems very important. Hold on to small joys and achievements, they’ll get you to the next day. 🩷 Thank you for being here and cheering me on! I love you all and can’t wait to see what February holds!

12.23.25:: Time to start my first Tunisian crochet project! Wish me luck. I have a dream and a lot of faith that this is no different than a combo of crochet and knitting.

Starting with an aluminum straight needle while I wait for my circulars to arrive.

First Tusinian Crochet project in the sunlight. ☀️

I’ve frogged it a few more times mainly because I lost stitch and row count. Also sized down another .5mm in hook size.

But now we are trucking. 🚛
