Being empathetic is not easy. Sometimes you pick up on something but can’t pin down exactly what it is. Late this morning I was feeling very out of sorts. Something was “off”. The energy I was getting was very disturbing. Within 20 minutes of feeling this way I got a message from a friend who had more trauma in his/her life. I knew immediately this was it and was able to send energy and prayers for them.

So, just because you can’t always tell what it is right away, don’t ignore your intuition. You can always help.

Meditation is a great tool to increase your peace of mind your connection with others and your own happiness. However many people ask me what is the best way to meditate. I say start small. Take a minute timer on your cell phone if you need to and sit down in a quiet place and think of things that make you happy and speak gratitude to whatever deity or universe or life force that you believe exists and be thankful for those things. Just for one minute. Then try stretching that out and try quiet in your mind start with being grateful for something but then try quieting it And listening for messages for inspiration for wisdom. But do whatever feels right to you. Light a candle or put on some soothing sounds use a calm app or something else that plays calming sounds or music. Meditation doesn’t have to be a big scary thing or a formal thing. It is individual. Make it your own. But try to do it regularly it will change your life.

Full moon tonight. Especially on the cusp of a new year use this opportunity to let go of anything that is holding you back. Write it down on a piece of paper, take it outside and burn it under the full moon and let the ashes fall to the earth and be absorbed. So long as you don’t live in a place where there’s a burn warning or a danger of fire. If there is please use a bowl or some other Receptacle to catch your ashes. But you can still burn it and let it go. Blessed be.

our earth is our home and we must protect it. We must protect clean water and clean air. Without that there is nothing no amount of money no amount of wealth no amount of famous can overcome bad air and unclean water. We must protect her!
