Hey Sis,

Are you ready to really love on yourself and invite the Holy Spirit into your kitchen, pantry, and life to truly honor your temple? If we're being honest, we often don't treat our bodies as the temples they are. We neglect ourselves in many ways and then look for quick fixes. The lasting results you want come from your relationship with yourself, with God, and with what you eat and why. This isn't a diet; it's a lifestyle. Abundant living is our portion, but we have a role and a responsibility in the outcome. God will always do His part—you can count on that. Now, He's waiting for you to commit to doing your part.

I understand the confusion with so many diets and fads out there. I've been there too. But partnering with the Holy Spirit and surrendering to the will of God can help you get delivered from gluttonous behaviors, break free from emotional eating habits, and get to the root of it all. This challenge is designed to renew your mind, nourish your body, and bring your spirit into alignment with God's will for you (3 John 1:2).

07/11/2023

Heavenly Father,

I come before You today in the name of Yeshua (Jesus), grateful for the gift of a new day. Thank You for the breath of life and for the opportunity to awaken to Your presence and purpose. As I begin this day, I surrender myself to Your will and invite Your guidance and wisdom to lead me.

Lord, I acknowledge that You are the source of all things good and that apart from You, I can do nothing. I invite Your Holy Spirit to fill me, to empower me, and to guide my thoughts, words, and actions throughout this day. Help me to align my will with Yours and to walk in obedience to Your commandments.

I pray that You would order my steps and open doors of opportunity for me. Grant me discernment to recognize those opportunities and the courage to pursue them with diligence and integrity. May Your favor rest upon me, and may Your blessings overflow in every area of my life.

As I go about my daily activities, I pray that You would grant me a heart of compassion and love for those I encounter. Help me to be a vessel of Your grace, kindness, and mercy. Give me the wisdom to offer encouragement, support, and help to those in need.

Father, I commit my plans, aspirations, and goals into Your hands. I surrender any worries, fears, or anxieties that may weigh me down, trusting that You are in control and that You will provide for all my needs according to Your riches in glory.

I thank You, Lord, for the privilege of being called Your child and for the gift of salvation through Yeshua (Jesus Christ.) May my life today and always bring glory and honor to Your holy name.

In Yeshua (Jesus') precious name, I pray.

Amen.

One wellness tip that has greatly helped me in nurturing my mental and spiritual well-being as a Woman of faith is to prioritize self-care and incorporate it into my daily routine. Here's what I've found beneficial:

Every morning, I set aside a few moments for quiet reflection and prayer. This allows me to connect with my God and seek guidance for the day ahead. I find that starting my day in this manner helps me cultivate a sense of peace and purpose.

Throughout the day, I make an effort to practice mindfulness. Being fully present in the moment allows me to appreciate the beauty around me, focus on my thoughts and feelings, and maintain a positive outlook. This can be achieved through simple activities such as deep breathing exercises, mindful walking, or taking short breaks to clear my mind.

Engaging in regular physical activity has also been beneficial for my overall well-being. Exercise not only benefits my physical health but also helps reduce stress, improve my mood, and enhance my mental clarity. Whether it's going for a walk, or finding a form of exercise that brings me joy, making time for movement is essential. Movement is Medicine!

Additionally, I make it a point to surround myself with a supportive community. Connecting with like-minded individuals who share my faith provides a sense of belonging, encouragement, and understanding. Attending and participating in small groups or Bible studies, and engaging in meaningful conversations with other believers help foster spiritual growth and provide a valuable support system.

Lastly, I prioritize self-care activities that nourish my mind, body, and soul. This can include reading uplifting books or scriptures, journaling to express my thoughts and emotions, engaging in creative pursuits, spending time in nature, or simply engaging in hobbies that bring me joy and fulfillment. Taking time for myself allows me to recharge and maintain a healthy balance in my life.

Remember, wellness is a personal journey, so I encourage you to explore what resonates with your journey. By nurturing your mental and spiritual well-being through these practices, you can experience a deeper sense of peace, purpose, and alignment with God.

Hey Sis, drink up! 💧

Staying hydrated is important throughout the year, but it becomes particularly crucial during the summer months when the weather is hotter and you tend to lose more fluids through sweating. Here are some reasons why staying hydrated in the summer is essential:
Reasons to stay hydrated especially in the summer:

1. Regulate body temperature:🥵 Staying hydrated helps your body regulate its temperature, preventing overheating and heat-related illnesses.

2. Prevent dehydration: 🥵High temperatures and increased sweating can lead to dehydration, which can cause fatigue, dizziness, and other health problems.

3. Support physical performance: 💪 Proper hydration improves endurance, lubricates joints, and prevents muscle cramps, allowing you to perform better during summer activities.

4. Aid digestion and nutrient absorption: 🌱 Water is essential for proper digestion and the absorption of nutrients from food.

5. Maintain healthy skin: ✨️ Hydration plays a key role in maintaining skin health and elasticity, reducing the risk of dryness and promoting a glowing complexion.

Ways to stay hydrated by drinking water and water-rich fruits: 🍉

1. Drink plenty of water throughout the day, aiming for at least 8 cups (64 ounces) or more depending on your activity level and individual needs.

2. Carry a reusable water bottle with you to ensure easy access to water wherever you go.

3. Set reminders or establish a schedule to drink water regularly, especially if you tend to forget.

4. Flavor your water with slices of lemon, cucumber, or fresh herbs to add a hint of taste and make it more enjoyable.

5. Consume water-rich fruits like watermelon, strawberries, oranges, and cucumbers as a hydrating and refreshing snack.

6. Make fruit-infused water by adding slices of fruits like berries, citrus, or cucumbers to a pitcher of water and letting it infuse for a few hours before drinking.

7. Eat hydrating foods like soups, smoothies, and salads that contain high water content ingredients like vegetables and fruits.

8. Avoid excessive consumption of caffeinated or alcoholic beverages as they can contribute to dehydration.

Remember, staying hydrated is a continuous effort, so it's important to make it a habit by incorporating these strategies into your daily routine, especially during the summer months when hydration needs are.

As a nutritional coach targeted for Christian women, my approach is rooted in the belief that keeping God first in our lives is essential for overall well-being, including our nutrition. I understand the importance of integrating faith and health, and I strive to guide my clients in aligning their nutrition goals with their Christian values.

In our coaching sessions, I emphasize the concept of stewardship—recognizing that our bodies are gifts from God and that we have a responsibility to care for them. I help my clients understand that nourishing their bodies with wholesome, nutritious foods is a way to honor God and glorify Him through our physical well-being.

I incorporate Bibilical principles and scriptures into our discussions, providing encouragement and inspiration for making positive changes in their nutrition journey. We explore passages that emphasize the importance of self-care, discipline, gratitude, and self-control—attributes that can positively impact our approach to food and overall health.

Prayer and seeking God's guidance are integral parts of my coaching process. I encourage my clients to involve God in their nutrition goals, praying for strength, wisdom, and perseverance. Together, we seek God's will in making choices that align with His design for our bodies and pursue a healthy lifestyle that reflects our faith.

Additionally, I understand that emotional and spiritual well-being are interconnected with physical health. As Christian women, we recognize that our identity is found in Christ, not in our appearance or body size. I foster a compassionate and non-judgmental environment where my clients can address any body image concerns, food-related guilt, or struggles with self-worth. Through Bibilical encouragement and guidance, I help them embrace a balanced and healthy perspective on their bodies and develop self-care habits rooted in God's love.

By combining sound nutritional principles with a Christian perspective, I aim to empower my clients to make God-honoring choices that nourish their bodies and support their overall well-being. Together, we embark on a journey of discovering God's plan for their health, finding strength in Him, and living out a balanced, joyful, and healthy lifestyle that reflects their faith. 🙏🏽 ❤️ 🥗
