Friday we celebrated 5 AMAZING years of marriage, and today we celebrate ’s 30th birthday!

Words cannot even describe what this man means to me. I am beyond thankful and blessed for the kind of man he CHOOSES to be for his girls every.single.day. If marriage has taught us anything (and it’s taught us a lot), it’s that you have to wake up and MAKE THE CHOICE to pursue your spouse everyday no matter what life’s circumstances are! Patrick does this all day everyday and I’m so thankful for that.

I inserted him name in this famous passage on our wedding day and it still remains true today:

Patrick is patient, Patrick is kind. He does not envy, he does not boast, he is not proud. Patrick does not dishonor others, he is not self-seeking, he is not easily angered, he keeps no record of wrongs. Patrick does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Patrick always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

I love you today more than ever. Happy *late* anniversary and birthday! 🎉

Making up for lost time with 2 concerts in one week. So much fun! I’d by lying if I said I wasn’t looking forward to a slow, “normal” week. Just kidding, by the looks of my calendar it’s packed with extra classes at the studio, showings + CLOSINGS + all the other work tasks ✅

What’s your favorite way to prepare for busy weeks ahead? Here’s mine 👇🏼

-write out as much as I can in my planner (time block where necessary - this is challenging since real estate is not always predictable - but if I do my non-negotiable a first everything can fall around those)
-meal plan and/or prep… I prefer to prep veggies + easy snacks for the week versus full meals.
-plan my workouts… this has also been challenging for me, char is back to waking up at the crack of dawn so I’ll have to get up at 5 to squeeze it in 😫 who’s with me this week? I need some accountability!
-time for pause + praise. time in worship, time in the word, meditation, stillness, prayer walks - anything to fix my eyes and heart on His plans for me.
