This workshop will focus on improving connections, building counselors' confidence, building & enhancing family connections, increasing communication, developing solution-focused skills, making parental involvement more engaging, and reducing the stress that causes the therapy process to be challenging.

Sometimes, the common theme is where someone can access counseling support (individual, couples, and family counseling).

If you have children in elementary, middle, or high school. You can speak to the professional school counselor or the school social worker. They can provide you with a list of counseling professionals in your area.

If you have insurance, you can call the number on the back of your insurance card.
You can access your employee assistance program (EAP) as part of your benefits.

If you are in college, you can go to the student health services center. You can also dial 988, the crisis hotline.

Since 2007, The Sutherland Center, LLC (TSC) www.TheSutherlandCenter.com has served Atlanta and its neighboring cities, facilitating therapy services for individuals, couples, and families. TSC's focus is on 'Strengthening The Foundation For The Family.'

We understand that families sometimes struggle to connect, and we're here to support them. Our solution-focused therapy approach creates new engaging emotional experiences of hope, empathy, resilience, and connection. We support families by identifying and strengthening their 'Families Foundational Five '.

Evening and weekend appointments are available. However, no insurance plans are accepted. All families are self-paying. Healthcare spending accounts are accepted. TSC can offer a monthly detailed superbill receipt upon request for out-of-network (OON) benefits (TSC suggests that families check their insurance company's policies on filing for insurance reimbursement). You should submit the receipts for reimbursement to your insurance carrier; however, TSC cannot guarantee repayment. Please keep in mind that insurance companies require a diagnosis. The diagnosis is within the superbill receipt.

At TSC, we believe in the importance of personal choice. When you choose our services, you can select a national board-certified and licensed professional counselor who best suits your needs. For couples therapy, a husband-wife team is available. We understand that couples sometimes struggle to connect, and we're here to support them. Our solution-building couples systems therapy approach builds upon positive emotional connections and creates new emotional experiences. We provide an engaging environment of hope, empathy, and resilience where two people can connect, communicate more effectively, and create healthier relationships.

TSC only provides TeleMental Health services to Georgia residents. Couples intensives will start in the summer of 2025.
