Saturdays mean two things: 🥎 & SMART FUEL. I don’t chase fad diets, I’ve learned to build habits that help me show up strong every time I step on the field. Over the past two years, I’ve had the chance to watch and support incredible female athletes. Their ability to excel, get commited to amazing schools and be well rounded individuals is a LARGE part of WHY i do this.

This reset is personal and right on time.
This your reminder that social media is where the “best” of the good things are seen, the place that was created to either motivate and/or break.

It’s nothing too crazy and just enough to help us settle in before the holidays hit.

This week I had the pleasure of teaching a private Wellness Based Eating clients with a small group of clients!

Wellness based eating is a term I started using and a way I started LIVINV about 10 years ago & have continued throughout my allied healthcare career and fitness career.

Our experience consisted of providing information about nutrition, macro vs. micro nutrients, intermittent fasting, and most of all and interactive, cooking experience to put it all together!

Special appreciation goes out to my client for hosting us in her lovely home!

We got so much great content, there are so many great takeaways. I can't wait to share with you all!

BEFORE YOU START YOUR DAY, MOVE. Your body is designed to move in three planes — sagittal, frontal, and transverse — and training all three keeps you strong, balanced, and functional in everyday life. 💪🏽 It’s not just about lifting or sweating, it’s about teaching your body to move well.Strength doesn’t just come from reps, it develops from range. Over the last few months, lifting has been the furthest thing from my mind, because it doesn’t feel great to my body. Even simple movement planes feel compromising, and this is a reminder that all deal with things that people can’t see and always appear “well” to the untrained eye.

My grocery go-tos don’t always look the same — some weeks it’s budget-friendly basics, some weeks it’s all the things I want. Either way, the goal stays the same: fuel my body, honor my season, and keep it REAL. Sometimes it’s budget groceries, sometimes it’s bougie groceries!!!

We started with perfecting TRX pull-ups and rows in all positions for a while… but 2025 brought us here! 🙌🐘

I'm thankful for these relationships that were formed in the gym but sustained outside of it.

This summer has been about reflection, rest & focusing on making sure living well is my primary focus.

That's what I teach my community:
• Real wellness meets you where you are.
• Real wellness is incorporating healthy choices and still enjoying life, friends & family.
• Real wellness is BALANCE.
• Real wellness is taking time for yourself, rejuvenating, getting a massage, going for walk.
• Real wellness is doing ONLY what feels good.
