Georgia Highlands Medical Services is a non-profit Community Health Center (CHC) serving the medical needs of North Georgia since 1979. The offices of Georgia Highlands Medical Services are staffed by dedicated Board Certified Physicians and Family Nurse Practitioners who practice general medicine. Our medical providers are assisted by licensed nurses and certified medical assistants. Our four offices (located in Cu***ng, Canton, Cartersville, and Dawsonville Georgia) are open to the general public, adults and children, regardless of residence or income.

On Sunday, December 14 , Family Promise of Forsyth County is opening our doors as an Overnight Emergency Warming Center to provide a short-term, overnight warming space for up to 20 of our Forsyth County neighbors during periods of dangerous cold.

This effort is focused on ensuring people have a safe, warm place to be during extreme cold. Space is limited, and we are only able to accommodate people at this time. For the safety of everyone, weapons, drugs, alcohol, and pets are not permitted on the premises.
