Don't Get Stuck on the No

Are you taking things way too seriously today?

We have a tendency to do that at times, and it can keep us stuck in the problem.

A friend of mine went to a seminar on sales a few years ago and came back with this refrain that makes me smile every time I think of it.

It goes like this:

Some will.
Some won't.
So what?
Who's next?
Keep those feet moving!

It not only works for sales, but also if someone turns you down for an idea, a job, a request for help, or any other thing:

Don't get stuck on the no!
Don't get mired in the mud.
Don't let discouragement set in.

Keep those feet moving.

Of course, we like the "yes" answer better than the "no."

We prefer it when people agree with us.

We like to gather people on our bandwagon, but we must remember that the "no" is usually nothing personal.

It is just a part of life.

Some will.

Some won't.

So what?
