Hi I’m Princess, Established Entrepreneur and Social Mom+Me™️ of 3. This page is NEW but I can’t say I’m new to IG; For the longest I’ve showed up in this space as a business rather than the person behind my brands. I’m not shy and far from an introvert but navigating Instagram can be TOUGH and it’s so easy to get caught up in the “Perfect” squares of it all!! I was just busy “Real-Lifing” and “MomMeing” and truth be told none of that has been PERFECT! Nevertheless I’ve found a way to navigate it all and I am here, hoping to build a community while inspiring you to be a Social Mom+Me™️ too!! xoxo Princess😘

“Testing” has never been a priority for me as an Educator.. Mainly because it just felt like I was boxed in to the expectations and standards of someone else. We all have strengths and I would much rather foster that l. I strongly feel that every child learns differently and Homeschooling has given me the freedom to tailor my approach to what suites my child best. With all that said SKY LIKES TO BE ASSESSED AND TESTED! 🤣 So here we are working on Plural Nouns with Chance and Test Prepping Sky! What are your thoughts on Testing? Did it give you anxiety? Did it feel like your child was truly failing if they didn’t test well?

The freedom to be creative is so important to me and to a child’s development. A while ago I noticed that my 4 year old would shy away from anything art related and always felt like he was “doing it wrong”… He is very particular and what you would probably consider a perfectionist so art just seemed too fluid for him. Nevertheless I kept introducing new textiles and options and encouraging him with my interest in his creations! He now sees art. as fun and takes pride in telling you all about his masterpieces!!

Now a days, peeling a device away from a child to get them to spend time outdoors almost feels like the equivalent of putting them on punishment. I don’t know if you all will agree but I most certainly experienced that within my own family and decided to do something about it! We vowed to spend at least an hour outdoors EVERYDAY!! This past weekend I put together a nature scavenger hunt and the kids loved it!! They even found a feather left behind by the family of geese that “lives” with us 🥰. Nature provides many lifelong benefits across physical health, mental health and academic competency. A healthy exposure to Vitamin D promotes bone health and helps minimize issues related to diabetes and heart disease. Even playing with dirt has shown to reduce anxiety and stress levels in children.

Introducing different natural environments to children can help them think beyond their immediate surroundings and build well-rounded perspectives. Nature-based learning and education improves a child’s academic performance and critical thinking.

We invested in the Osmo Starter Kit last Christmas and now have a growing collection! I love that its interactive and encourages learning through play! Osmo has also been my go to for device weening because let’s face it we all need a tablet babysitter ever now and then!🤪
