EoE can masquerade as reflux for years—leaving patients at risk of fibrosis and strictures. Unlike GERD, it won’t improve with PPIs alone. Dysphagia is the hallmark, but symptoms vary widely by age.

My favorite young man attended his sophomore homecoming dance… and this year he selected every article of clothing (down the the belt) himself.

When he said said to me while hovering and trying to help “mom, no socks… just lotion” - I think I knew my son had officially left me in the “spectator” section and gracefully informed me that he has it under control.🥰

My identity as a mom has been consumed with “fixing” “advising” and “intervening”. However, now I know that in a few short years, he will be off to build his own amazing life, so I better start “listening” and enjoying the young man we, under the leadership of God, have been grooming for greatness.

He’s so ready to step out of the shadows, and I’m totally here for it ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥
