With over three decades of unwavering commitment to patient care, Andrea Logan Bossie is a distinguished Family Nurse Practitioner known for her expertise in nephrology, primary care, and transplant medicine. She began her nursing journey in 1993 after earning her BSN from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing at Mercer University. Andrea became one of Georgia’s trailblazing Certifies Nephrology Nurse in 1999 and went on to earn her MSN from Georgia State University in 2002. She is board- certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Andrea’s clinical excellence has earned her numerous accolades, including nominations for the William C. Waters Award at Piedmont Healthcare and Atlanta Journal-Constitution’s Nursing Excellence Awards. Most recently, Today’s Nurse named her one of its Top Providers for 2025, recognizing her exceptional leadership in patient-centered care. Her expertise has been recognized nationally through speaker roles with Amgen and Veloxis Pharmaceuticals, where she has educated clinicals on nephrology and immunosuppression in transplant patients. She was a featured speaker at the 2023 Vanderbilt Transplant Advanced Practice Provider Symposium, sharing key insights on hypertension management in transplant recipients.

Beyond her professional achievements, Andrea plays an active role in advancing clinical research as a Sub Investigator on multiple studies with Lilly Pharmaceuticals.

When she’s not caring for patients or educating peers, Andrea finds her greatest joy in family life. She and her husband treasure time with their four children and one granddaughter. Their home is also filler with the energy and loyalty of three beloved German Shepherds, making family time both lively and heartwarming.
