What we put in our carts becomes what fuels our bodies. Nutrition impacts more than weight.

It influences energy, hormone regulation, blood sugar stability, inflammation, digestion, and long-term health outcomes.
And for busy, overworked women, food is either working for you — or quietly working against you.

The goal isn’t perfection. It’s pattern.

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing practical, evidence-based guidance on how to build meals that support metabolism, improve energy, and reduce overwhelm around food.
Because sustainable health isn’t about dieting harder.

It’s about nourishing smarter.

And this is exactly what we build inside Be Well — mindset, mindful eating, and movement, supported with accountability and real-life strategies.

Stay tuned.

You don’t need more willpower.

You need rhythms that support the life you’re living. This quiet morning ritual—tea, intention, a moment to breathe—reminds me that wellness isn’t about doing everything at once. It’s about showing up consistently, even in small ways.

That’s exactly what Be Well has been about from the beginning.

As Be Well enters its next season, it continues to be a group wellness experience for women—especially moms—who are balancing full lives and want more accountability, community support, and sustainable habits that actually stick.

No extremes.
No pressure.

Just consistency, encouragement, and a space where you don’t have to do it alone.

The next Be Well group begins on the 2nd.

If you’re ready for structure that fits your real life, this may be for you.

DM me “BE WELL” for details.

You’re allowed to take care of yourself too.

Wellness Wednesday

Wellness isn’t about pushing through at all costs.
It’s about learning how to adapt, pivot, and stay connected to your body through every season.

Lately, that’s meant redefining movement, prioritizing intentional self-care, and choosing practices that support longevity—not burnout.

This is exactly what we work through in my group wellness program: meeting yourself where you are, navigating the ups and downs, and building habits that are sustainable, supportive, and aligned with real life.

If you’re ready to move, care for yourself, and show up differently—but consistently—this space is for you.

My Saturday started with a 3 mile run/walk with m y baby girl. Our nonprofit was recognized at the Run Social for Good Westside Finale for being Community Impact Partners. It was a fun and empowering experience and prioritized three things that I am passionate about, wellness, community and collaboration!!! Great way to begin my Self Care Saturday!!

I showed up early on a Sunday for my first group swim. Commitment got me here, consistency keeps me growing, and community makes me stronger.

Wellness We’d
I did Eight laps in the pool today!!!!
Not because it was easy… but because I had the ability to move, to breathe, and to show up for myself.
Some days our bodies feel strong. Other days, the setbacks and limitations feel heavier. But gratitude keeps us grounded. And commitment keeps us moving forward.
Today I’m celebrating progress — not perfection.
Movement — not comparison.
Breath — because it’s a gift.
Here’s to staying the course, one intentional step (or lap!) at a time.

Wellness isn’t a burden, it’s a becoming. Your wellness journey is yours. It doesn’t have to be overwhelming or perfect-just personal, powerful, and purposeful. Honor who you are and who you are becoming! wellness

This weekend was full, in the best of ways. I celebrated centennial homecoming, reconnected with my sisters, and shared a piece of HBCU culture with my daughter. My heart was full… but my body? A little tired 😅

Waking up this morning to train was hard — especially going from 80° in New Orleans to 38° in Atlanta. But here’s the truth I remind myself of often:

If you have a goal, it will require:
• Consistency
• Commitment
• Community

Some days will feel easy, some days will feel heavy. But your why will always anchor you.

Today I showed up — not perfectly, but with intention.
20 minutes of running + 4 laps in the pool.
And listen… I have never completed a full lap in my life before training for this triathlon. Today I did four. The goal is eight. We’re getting there. One lap, one breath, one day at a time. 🏊‍♀️💪🏾

This week, I encourage you to:
• Say yes to yourself.
• Set boundaries where you need them.
• Stay committed to the version of you you’re becoming.

Progress is still progress and it deserves to be celebrated.

Be well 💛
Stay well.
We’re growing. We’re rising. We’re showing up.

— Monica
