Honoring the Strength That Stands Beside Us

Yesterday during our Soul Care Session, a beautiful woman shared something that stayed with me. She recently lost her husband of 38 years. She explained that since his passing, she has been struggling not only with grief, but with guilt. She kept saying she wished she had learned more about the household finances. He handled everything so carefully and thoroughly that she never had to think about paying the car note or managing the bills. Now she’s navigating both heartbreak and responsibilities she never expected to face alone.

Her story made me pause.
In a time where women are strong, accomplished, self-sufficient, and fully capable of building and sustaining their own lives, we sometimes overlook how powerful healthy partnership truly is. Strength and independence are beautiful but so is support. So is protection. So is provision. There is something deeply grounding about having a masculine presence that offers stability, guidance, and security whether that comes from a father, husband, mentor, or positive role model.
Thriving in your feminine energy doesn’t mean
weakness. It means safety. It means being able to soften, to create, to nurture, to flourish without carrying every burden alone. Leadership within a home is honorable.

Responsibility is admirable. Showing up consistently matters.

So today, I want to acknowledge the men who lead with integrity. The men who protect. The men who provide. The men who take responsibility. The men who show up.

You are valued. ❤️
