Trying to stay on track with your New Years Resolution? You may be overthinking Cheat Days. Cheat Days are days when you eat anything… well just about anything, and does not typically include as many health conscious foods we consume on regular days. Cheat Days actually help your body in burning fat and keeping your metabolism high when you workout throughout the week. Here are a few ways to maximize your Cheat Day:
1.) Workout during the morning of your cheat day. (This will boost your metabolism and will assist in not storing your food choices as fat)
2.) If you cheat for a whole day’s worth of meals, try to limit your Cheat Day for one day a week. (Limit yourself to about 1 day per week to full out cheat so you are not consuming too many calories during the week; Your body deserves it, but it not everyday)
3.) Try to avoid processed foods. (You can enjoy the cookies, cakes, hamburgers, and all other delicious foods; but try to eat the ones that are that are homemade or not processed)
