Happy Earth Day! 🌎
Today is an invitation to pause, soften, and remember that we are part of a living, breathing planet who feels us.
If you feel called, do one thing today to honor that sacred partnership: Offer gratitude. Send healing light to a species you love. Walk gently on the land. Place your hand on a tree. Whisper gratitude to the wind. Send a blessing to the wild ones. Take an action that supports the animal kingdom. Let the Earth feel your presence and devotion.
Even the smallest gesture becomes a thread in the greater healing. May we honor our Earth with presence, reverence, and conscious partnership — today and every day.
When we honor the Earth, she responds. When we honor the animals, the web of life strengthens. Today, let your heart be your offering.💚

Those who use The Perfect One pattern are focused solely on maintaining a perfect appearance to the world. Much effort goes into preserving the illusion that they do not have any weaknesses. Everything in their life is diligently organized and structured to give the impression that they are flawless. Unfortunately, the inner psychological world is denied, and their authentic core essence is banished to a far-off land, buried and inaccessible. Emotions are promptly thrust into their subconscious, which contributes to an over-use of intellect and an emphasis on the material world. They continue going through the motions of preserving their perfect life until an incident or event occurs that shifts their perspective and they sense that something is missing. Until those who utilize this protective pattern awaken and release their repressed emotions, they will steer clear of engaging in emotionally authentic relationships.
There is a wide scope of functionality within each pattern that spans from those completely immersed in the pattern to those just wading in the waters of it. With The Perfect One pattern, it comes down to how much flexibility they have in how they sense and react to the world, and how much they are able to connect with their truest selves. On the low end of the spectrum, they are completely immersed in a heartless, joyless life, filled to the brim with structure and rules. They work or stay busy all the time. Their thoughts and actions are rigid, controlled, and constrained. Any perceived shortcomings and imperfections are immediately dealt with to restore order. On the high end of the range, these people and animals have tapped into their divine essence and have loosened the reins of their inner and outer perfectionistic structure. They can authentically connect to others while still maintaining a strong level of functionality and productivity. Most importantly, they can sense their own essence and have a genuine love of life.
With every survival pattern, once the person or animal has excavated and healed a good portion of the distortion created from the original wound, their reactions soften and aren’t as charged. There are positive skills and abilities that naturally develop from using each survival pattern. After those healing from The Perfect One pattern have learned how to open their heart and relax their grip on their perfectionistic tendencies, they are great role models for combining the use of the mental and emotional realms to live a richer, more balanced life. The people who use this pattern tend to be very articulate, and can easily and spontaneously find the right and perfect descriptive words to give instructions, have intelligent and clever conversations, and put ideas into words. This skillset is of great value in careers where speaking in front of others is a key element to the position, given that they are very comfortable being seen. Their ability to think clearly, rationally, objectively, and quickly often lands them in leadership roles. They prioritize and compartmentalize well, and don’t take things personally. These people and animals are energetically grounded and have strong, clear boundaries, making it easy for them to feel entirely safe when around others in nearly any capacity.

Let me share a little more details with you about my newest book, which was blessed by having the foreword written by the incredible grandmother of Interspecies Communication: Penelope Smith, Animal Communication Specialist. Published by Inner Traditions/Bear & Co.
Your Animal ~ Your Soul Mirror was written for animal lovers on a conscious path—those who sense that their animal companions are not only beloved friends, but soul partners helping them dismantle long-held emotional wound patterns. Through decades of case studies, healing sessions, and research, I’ve witnessed again and again how animals mirror our deepest emotional truths, not to burden us, but to help us evolve.
It is an emotional wellness guidebook that illuminates this sacred collaboration. It offers a pathway for humans and animals to heal symbiotically through soul mirroring—a compassionate, heart-centered process that honors animals as conscious, equal partners in a shared journey of transformation.
Inside the book, you will discover:
·The five emotional wound patterns—the Scared One, Needy One, Sensitive One, Protector, and Perfect One
·How these patterns form early in life and may manifest as physical issues or behavioral challenges in both humans and animals
·Practical tools, charts, and real-life examples that make the work accessible to anyone, even those new to emotional or spiritual healing
·Methods for self-nurturing, releasing resistance, transforming beliefs, and opening the heart
·A deeper understanding of how animals help us heal—not by absorbing our pain, but by reflecting what is ready to be released
This book is a testament to the profound love that exists within the animal–human bond. It reminds us that healing is rarely solitary, and that when love is mirrored honestly, it becomes one of our greatest teachers.
It's available NOW on all major book webstores.
Here's the link to the book on Amazon: https://a.co/d/0fF03w85

I love this little lizard! She inspired my new blog:
Lessons from a Lizard Gatekeeper
When I began moving into my new home, I expected the usual companions of transition — boxes, emotions, and the bittersweet ache of leaving behind a decade of memories. What I didn’t expect was a small, sun‑loving guardian waiting for me on the screened porch every single time I arrived with another load.
She would always rest peacefully at the threshold of the porch, having easily wriggled under the door to stay warm through the night and keep any intruders at bay. It was an Eastern Fence Lizard — quick, watchful, and brimming with ancient wisdom.
And unlike most lizards who dart away at the slightest movement, this one didn’t flinch. She held her ground. She watched me with calm curiosity, as if she had been stationed there with purpose. As if she were welcoming me into a space she intimately understood.
It felt like a blessing. A sign. A soul contract unfolding at the exact moment of a major life transition.
Lizards are known for their extraordinary ability to regenerate lost tails — a living metaphor for renewal, resilience, and the courage to shed what no longer serves.
As I moved through the emotional and physical process of relocating, her medicine felt unmistakable:
Release what’s outdated. Detach from what drains you. Allow yourself to grow new life where something once felt lost.
Every box I unpacked, every memory I sorted through, every layer I released seemed to echo this teaching. Her presence reminded me that beginnings require endings — and endings are simply invitations for regeneration.
The Eastern Fence Lizard thrives in shifting environments — forests, fences, sunlit porches, and unexpected edges of human life. Their adaptability is their superpower.
I felt her energy speaking to me:
You can adapt too.You can move through this transition with flexibility rather than resistance. You can let this new chapter shape you in ways that expand your soul.
She embodied the very quality I needed most — the ability to stay fluid, open, and responsive to change.
Threshold guardians appear when we are crossing into a new phase of life. They stand at the doorway of transformation. They bless the passage and help us step fully into the next evolution of our souls.
As the days unfolded and I began to settle into the new home, I started to feel its vibration in ways I wasn’t expecting. There is a clarity here — a grounded, connected feeling that seems to amplify my sacred work. My intuition feels sharper. My meditations feel deeper. My creative flow feels more effortless.
It’s as if the land itself is collaborating with me. As if the home is a co‑conspirator in my purpose. And I am certain that one little brown lizard was the first emissary of that energetic welcome.
This experience reminded me of something I teach often: Animals are not just companions. They are collaborators.
Whether wild or domestic, they show up with purpose. They mirror our growth edges. They guide us into deeper awareness. They partner with us for shared evolution.
You, too, have animals crossing your path — some briefly, some repeatedly, some in dreams, some in daily life — who are partnering with you on behalf of a bigger cause.
They are helping you:
Adapt
Heal
Awaken
Release
Remember who you truly are
These relationships are not accidental. They are soul‑level agreements.
So the next time an animal lingers in your presence, or locks eyes with you, or appears again and again in your awareness…
Pause. Listen. Feel into the possibility that they are walking beside you for a reason. Because they are.
And when we honor these partnerships — when we recognize animals as conscious allies — we participate in a larger movement of healing, harmony, and awakening on this planet.
P.S. The photo is indeed the actual lizard who has become a gatekeeper and teacher of this new phase of my life.

Welcome March
The month of rebirth
when the air is full of possibilities.
Hope is renewed as new leaves appear,
and the trees spout buds.
Flowers bloom, and the earth
awakens from its slumber.
Nature is busy once more and we
are feeling the transformation
within us.
The Spring equinox brings
the balance between light and dark.
There is a feeling of anticipation
whilst we await the new beginnings
that are unfolding.
Everything starts to align again
as we step into this glorious phase
of transformation.
Spring steps forth, and the cycle
resumes for all of nature ..

Happy 8th birthday to Bodhi & Rumi!
The visions started coming to me in meditation. They were always the same: six gray kittens playing together. I was also seeing the number 222 several times each day. I’m in contact weekly with a handful of no-kill animal shelters because I donate healing sessions to them as part of my service work.
Therefore I’m exposed to many animals that are seeking adoption. Somehow, I found out that two of the rescue organizations each had a litter of six gray kittens. During my workshops and with clients, I frequently share the importance of following one’s guidance. This includes God-winks and nudges, however they may arrive on your doorstep.
I was aware of the relevance and importance of moving forward to determine if there were two kittens in either of these two litters, preferably a bonded pair, that were meant to be with me. If things didn’t come together easily, I’d know it wasn’t meant to be yet.
My heart was racing when I walked into the kitten room at Good Mews Animal Foundation. I invited the souls of my beloved MaiTai and Sundance to guide me during this important meet and greet. When I adopt an animal, I ask them for obvious signs, so it’ll be clear that they’re the one for me.
The morning of my visit at Good Mews I decided I would sit on the floor in the center of their free-roaming kitten room and simply wait to see if I was chosen by a bonded pair. There were at least a dozen kittens running around, all of varying coloring, fur length, and ages.
As soon as I sat down, one of the gray kittens walked over and sat on my lap. He was constantly watching one of his brothers and would occasionally leave to chase and play with him but always returned to my lap. After a little while his brother decided to join us. The three of us then had a wonderful time getting acquainted.
Not one other kitten showed any interest. I had already decided to move forward with the adoption of the two kittens when one of their volunteers shared that they knew their birth date, which is rare for rescue groups. It was February 22 . . . as in . . . 2.22.
