Amniotomy and Cord Prolapse by Judy Slome Cohain
Rate of cord prolapse directly increases with increasing rates of amniotomy. Where amniotomy is never practiced and vaginal exams are extremely restricted, no cord prolapse is reported. Rates of 3–4/1000 cord prolapses were reported with 26–89% rates of amniotomy (Dilbaz 2006; Uygur 2002). In a study of inductions, which usually include amniotomy, a 7/1000 rate of cord prolapse was reported.

There’s no better place to support this natural and sacred part of a mother and baby’s journey than with a midwife at home. Any healthy women should consider it.

Midwifing means understanding that the body can handle things, and that true dysfunction starts to deviate from a little to more, so you can watch and see what process is unfolding, and keeping the peace for all of it.

"75.5% of SIDS cases reported to VAERS from 1990 to 2019 occurred within 7 days of vaccination"

For obvious reasons it has been left out of all religious and historical and cultural texts to give vaccines to a day old baby with an undeveloped liver and immune system. That's because it is 100% unwise! We know newborns can't even process their bilirubin and get jaundice well because of these immature livers? It's terrible and unholy to burden them. No baby gets Hepatitis B unless the mother had hepatitis, and we test all women. It makes me irate that we don't use common sense. Allow babies to attach and feel safe. Don't fill them with unnecessary stuff or cut pieces off of them. Their first weeks and months of life they have very important things that happen in their development and we should not interfere unless absolutely necessary. They do not need 3 hep B vaccines by 6 months, or upwards of 26 total vaccines by a year.

If you vaccinate with pharmaceuticals, vaccinate when the body is healthy, strong, and developed so it can process out the adjuvants in the vaccines and mount a proper immune response.
There is little need to give as much or boost as often as the schedules say. Titers can be drawn. Vaccines can be spaced. Find pediatricians that think and don't just follow pharmaceutical and insurance plan agendas.

Homeopathic nosodes are the natural way of building immune response, so that's an option too.

Personally, I like the book Vaccine Friendly Plan. That physician talks about losing his childhood friend to measles and being a big vaccine advocate, but when he saw his patients regressing in development, he realized there were issues with the dosaging and processing of vaccines in some kiddos. He developed a dosaging structure that resulted in kids not getting autism.

I would personally be running my kids' genetic detoxification pathway status' before loading them up with the amount of vaccines on today's schedule, and I'd be supporting after vaccines with glutathione and vitamin C. Kids aren't my expertise, but babies are, and as much as I devote myself to honoring their beautiful design, I cannot agree with the way we vaccinate now.

It's insane people don't see this as a problem.

🚨 BREAKING SIDS ALERT: Study Links Childhood Vaccines to Deadly Brainstem Failure

A jaw-dropping study from the McCullough Foundation, published in Toxicology Reports on May 26, 2025, suggests childhood vaccines may trigger Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) by causing brainstem failure.

Authors Nicolas Hulscher and Dr. Peter McCullough dive into decades of data, revealing that 75.5% of SIDS cases reported to VAERS from 1990 to 2019 occurred within 7 days of vaccination, with a staggering 57× spike in reports on day 2.

The hypothesis points to toxic vaccine ingredients like aluminum adjuvants, formaldehyde, and polysorbate 80 overwhelming immature infant livers, leading to inflammation and dysfunction in the brainstem’s cardiorespiratory centers. This could disrupt breathing and heart rate during sleep, causing sudden death.

Historically, SIDS rates climbed as the childhood vaccine schedule grew from 3 to 17 vaccines between 1980 and 2005, despite efforts like the “Back to Sleep” campaign. A 1980s New Zealand case saw SIDS drop when vaccination compliance fell, adding weight to the theory.

Animal studies and autopsies suggest aluminum can cross the blood-brain barrier, inflaming the medulla oblongata, a key area for vital functions.

With 51% of VAERS SIDS cases occurring within 3 days of vaccination, the study demands urgent research into vaccine safety and screening protocols.

No federal action has addressed this potential link, leaving infants vulnerable.

A repeat client convinced me to attend her birth even though I planned a break from being on-call. It’s nice to be here again, birth pool, twinkle lights, babies being born peacefully at home 🏡 💕

Hi! I'm taking breaks off-call this year but I have been convinced by prior clients to be in town and attend births in these time ranges! Sept to Nov I am taking a full schedule.
I will take clients transferring into homebirth from OB practices if they have prior V births. I still want to get out of town some this summer, but I may be able to extend these on-call ranges some. The inquiry form on the website is how I want to be contacted.

In the meantime, find me another amazing Nurse Midwife who would love to attend homebirth in Atlanta and north Atlanta so the schedule can stay open! I love midwifing homebirth but I have got to satisfy my adventuresome spirit and leave this town sometimes! I have an awesome new camper and nature calls my soul.

I feel so unable to keep up with multiple sides of business, all the contact methods for both of them, the websites and all of my own life stuff. I've been slow with inquiry responses and onboarding steps for new clients. I don't have an admin assistant at the moment and may keep it that way.
As I am contemplating how to run my practice in the future, and simplify... so guess what's getting the axe... the concept of listing a phone number online!
It's gone!
Clients have my number and I can reach out to people... but goodbye Google Business listing having my number.
Congratulate me! haha.
