Nine of our GRO members volunteered yesterday at A New Daly Beginning wonderful Hearts Alligned Integrative Educational Event. We provided mini-reflexology sessions to cancer patients, manned an educational table, and our very own Evie Flemming with Tree Evolution LLC was one of the panel speakers. Thank you to all our amazing volunteers.

If you know anyone considering becoming a certified reflexologist, the Atlanta School of Wellness in Buckhead (Georgia’s newest Reflexology School) is starting its first Reflexology Certification class on October 4th.

The training will run over six weekends.

The Georgia Reflexology Organization just co-hosted a Reflexology for Trauma & Addiction workshop with Chantel Lucier the weekend of November 9th-10th. The workshop, held in conjunction with the Heal Center, was a great success. Chantel's collaborative teaching style was very engaging and participants went home learning new, trauma-informed reflexology techniques. GRO looks forward to hosting Chantel again for future workshops!

This training will include, among other topics: anatomy and physiology of the brain; reflexology guides for trauma and addiction, and new reflexology methods, techniques, and "subtle holds" for a detailed and integrative session.

If you are considering taking this Fall workshop or are just curious about this topic, Chantel is going to host an Intro to Reflexology for Trauma & Addiction Webinar on Thursday, September 12th at 6 p.m.

This 60 - 90 minute class will be recorded and sent to all who purchase this webinar. The cost is $20 for GRO Members or ANY State or National Reflexology Association and $30 for the general public. EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO JOIN. You do not have to be a practitioner to take this class.
