During these uncertain times, it is imperative to know what you can do to help protect yourself and prevent the spread of COVID-19 and many other viruses. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is your best resource for the most up to date information. Check the site daily to stay up on the latest updates and recommendations. You can also browse to learn about other diseases and conditions while you're there.
In the meantime:
~Stay home as much as you can, especially if you are sick.
~Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze. (Don't use your hands).
~Avoid touching your mouth and face.
~Wash your hands often with warm soap and water and friction for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water is unavailable, use hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
~Avoid sharing items such as drinking glasses, eating utensils, and towels.
~Disinfect door k***s and other non-porous surfaces and shared items often.
~Monitor yourself for signs and symptoms.
~If you are self monitoring, feel ill, and symptoms do not improve, call the doctor especially if you have a possible exposure to someone who is sick.
~Relax, relate, release. We'll get through this~
