Every miserable woman in my life told me to “just wait.”

Just wait until you’re 25.
Just wait until you’re a mom.
Just wait until you’re 30.
Just wait until you’re 40.
Just wait until perimenopause.
Just wait until life humbles you.

It was never advice
It was prophecy.
And it was always delivered by women who had already folded📣

What they meant was:
Just wait until you shrink.

Just wait until your body betrays you.
Just wait until your ambition exhausts you.
Just wait until your light dims.

They said it like a curse disguised as wisdom.

Here’s what they DIDN’T know

I went through menopause in my twenties.
I lost organs before most women lose collagen.
I had a total hysterectomy in my thirties.

I almost died in a house fire (lost everything).
I almost filed bankruptcy after getting 400k in dept and having tax leins
I buried versions of myself that NEVER got funerals.
I built businesses from fu*king ash.
I raised children without a blueprint for safety.
I cut off parents and family to save the little girl that lives inside me
I wanted to end things and not be here anymore

Life didn’t wait to test me.

It came early.
It came hard.
It came without permission.

And 👏I 👏didn’t 👏disappear.

That’s the part that bothers people.

Because some women, when life expands, assume the identity of decline.

They surrender their edge and call it maturity.
They dim their hunger and call it peace.
They gain weight and call it hormones or perimenopause.
They shrink their dreams and call it wisdom.

And then they look at you and say, “Just wait.”

What they really mean is:
I did.

I’m 40 now.

My body is tightening and Heather than in my 20’s.
My mind is clearer.
My standards are sharper.
My family is intact.
My ambition is disciplined, not frantic.

Life did not chew me up
.it had me in the fetal position many times. It refined me.

I am not the cautionary tale
.I am the exception.

✹I stopped panic dieting.

No 1,200 calories.
No detox teas.
No desperate “summer shred” chaos.

A stressed, underfed body will hold fat.

✹ I ate enough.

High protein.
Carbs daily.
Structured meals.

Because unstable blood sugar creates unstable hormones.

✹ I lifted heavy.

3–4 days a week.
Progressive overload.
Minimal cardio.

But no one talks about this part.

You can be successful.
In shape.
Disciplined.
Hormones “balanced.”

And still feel
 nothing.

Not because you don’t love your partner.
Not because you’re broken.
Not because you’re aging.

But because your nervous system never turns off.

When your body lives in pressure mode like...
deadlines, decisions, responsibility, performance...

It prioritizes survival.
