2️⃣ What do you think you should do?
3️⃣ What would you do differently next time?

Why do adults laugh less than kids? 🤔
According to psychology, it’s not because we lose our sense of humor—but because it evolves.

In this week’s :
🔹 The Mutual Vulnerability Theory of laughter
🔹 Why adult responsibilities reshape what we find funny
🔹 How humor actually deepens as we gain life experience
🔹 Why staying playful is the secret to laughing more at any age

Because laughter really is the best medicine. 💜

This week on , I share a simple but powerful practice inspired by my morning walks with butterflies:

🌸 Begin your day with a walk in nature
🌸 Practice gratitude and set intentions
🌸 Speak your manifestations as if they already exist
🌸 Feel the joy of what’s to come

Grounding yourself in gratitude and connecting with nature helps us slow down, appreciate life’s little beauties, and tap into our inner strength.

Resentment doesn’t just disappear—it piles up, clogs your peace, and spills over into every part of your life.

In this week’s Let’s Talk Thursdays, I share how to unclog the drain of pent-up emotions, release what’s holding you back, and open space for freedom, healing, and growth. 🌱

✨ Social Media Can Suck for Teens ✨

Let’s be real—sometimes social media just isn’t it.
📱 Instead of lifting teens up, it can bring them down:

👉 Constant comparison
👉 Pressure to be perfect
👉 Stress from likes and follows

But here’s the truth: you are more than your feed. 💯
Likes don’t define your worth. Filters don’t define your beauty. Follows don’t define your value.

It’s okay to unplug. It’s okay to protect your peace. And it’s definitely okay to remember that real life happens OFF the screen. 🌟

Making an Impact in Her Community & Beyond! Meet Dr. Kela Henry, Author “Nia & The Numbers Game” Dr. Kela Henry is a Southern physician with strong ties to her community. Aside from running her successful practice, where she supports healthy diets, exercise, and holistic healing whenever possible, Dr. Henry is passionate about the health of teenage girls and believes in giving back to organizations which focus on the education and empowerment of this demographic. She enjoys teaching and speaking with girls as early as their freshman year in high school, inspiring them to start thinking about the process of applying for college or vocational school. Why I started BTH Creations

Books are important because I believe reading, unlike watching TV, actively engages the mind. A well-written book can inform, inspire, intrigue, or excite the reader. The pages of a well-written story can transport you to foreign or fantasy lands, tickle you to the point of a good belly laugh, and educate you about various subjects. There is just so much useful information to be found in books, and reading is good brain exercise!

I started my own publishing company because I wanted creative freedom. It is important to me to release Nia & the Numbers Game : A Teenager’s Guide to Education, Relationships and S*x according to my vision. I felt it was important to show the full spectrum of Nia’s life— as I’ve written it—from early adolescence through her young adulthood and marriage. I want the target audience to see what’s possible. For the adults who will vet my work before allowing their daughters and students to read it, I hope they will recognize themselves in some of the scenarios and visualize a bright future for the young ladies they guide. My mission is to inspire young girls to be confident and healthy by building positive self-esteem & self-image.
