For 6 seasons of Family Feud, Jefferson wasn’t just a coworker — he was my guy and I visited with often.

We talked sports, the culture and House Music. Once I discovered he was a House head and he knew I appreciated House, he always had a track to share with me.

That soul-moving, spirit-lifting, four-on-the-floor therapy. 🎶
Jefferson understood it. The rhythm. The message. The release. We didn’t just work together — we vibed together. He welcomed me in. Schooled me on the history of Chicago House and played the tracks to back it up.

When this season stated I was looking forward to turning that corner, seeing that big Cubs flag and embracing him like weve done for the past aix years.

Unfortunately he wasn’t there when i turned that corner this year. I later learned he transitioned. walking into work without seeing his presence hits heavy. But I’m grateful — grateful for the laughs, the talks, the music, the brotherhood.

Always an honor to serve ringside with A-1 Medic Team, keeping athletes and fans safe while the action unfolds.

And on top of that—I had the pleasure of meeting the GWOAT herself, Claressa Shields 🐐👑. True greatness in and outside the ring.
