End of an Era 🐾❤️🎓📚

Today marks the end of a beautiful chapter. As another school year wraps up, I’m feeling all the emotions. My youngest is officially heading off to middle school, and just like that, my years as a mom with kids in elementary school have come to a close.

What makes this moment even more special and bittersweet is that all four of my children have come through this school district with some of the same educators. They’ve grown, learned, laughed, and even scraped a knee or two right down the hall from me. I’ve had the incredible privilege of not only being their mom, but also their fellow learner, cheerleader, and sometimes even their hallway hug when the day felt long.

Working in the same district and even the same school where my kids have grown up has been a gift I’ll never take for granted. It’s been a front row seat to their journeys and to the journeys of so many other amazing students and educators.

To my fellow parents, teachers, and staff: we did it. Another year in the books. To my baby: fly confidently into this next chapter. And to every moment I got to be both “Mom” and “Ms. Davis” in one day… thank you. 🖤♥️🐾
