Widow Wings

Widow Wings Sundays at 8:00 P.M. we offer a chat line for women to talk with other widows. It has been a life changing adjustment. It is a place to just be.

Widow Wings is a support group in the Atlanta area that provides a safe space for widows to share their experiences of rebuilding their lives after the lost of their partners. Living without him has proven to be the greatest challenge I have had to face. I have cried a river, spent many sleepless nights and prayed like I have never prayed before. I started Widow Wings because I felt there were other women who may have found themselves in the place that I was. I thought that other widows may, like me, want a place where we did not have to pretend but could talk freely about the transition to widowhood. And not only that but to learn how to move forward in our lives, giving thanks for the past and the hope for the future.. So out of my feelings, pain, struggle and love came Widow Wings.
