Thank you for your interest in volunteering as a community Friends member. There are more than 37 Community Friends groups that support Children's through volunteer opportunities, fundraising events and special service projects. This year, Friends events will benefit family support services, patient family services, Marcus Autism Center, wellness initiatives, Hughes Spalding, research, and the Big Apple Circus Clowns. Community Friends groups are usually formed by people who have a common bond—live in the same neighborhood, individual friendships, meet through schools, clubs or church, etc. Groups are encouraged to plan activities, service projects and fundraisers that interest them. Our goal is to keep the "fun" in fundraising. Murphey Candler Friends live in the Montgomery Elementary School zone.
