A Somatic Experience and Guided Meditation Thursday December 20th with the Lovely and Vibrant Kayla Dilullo!

Somatic Experiencing, or somatic work, is a modality rooted in body based healing. This approach to healing uses various techniques and tools that all come from within-tools you already have inside you. Using the breath, free flowing movement, ecstatic dance, stretching, shaking, bouncing, specific moves, sounding, presence, and awareness, we learn to notice physical sensations that carry unprocessed experiences. When trauma,stress, or emotional residue get stuck, the body holds on through tension, pain, disconnection, inability to remain present, illness, disease, and so much more.

Somatic work creates space for the body to naturally release this energy.

Curious about hypnosis for smoking cessation?

Hypnosis is a form of therapy that uses relaxation and suggestion to help people change their behavior, including smoking cessation.

Studies have shown that hypnosis can be effective in increasing smoking cessation rate. A review of 14 studies found that hypnosis, when combined with other smoking cessation treatments, increased the odds of quitting by 60-80% compared to other treatments alone.

During hypnosis, a therapist guides the client into a relaxed state and suggests that they will no longer crave ci******es or smoke. The therapist may also use imagery and positive reinforcement to help the client establish a new, smoke-free identity.

December 20th We invite you to gather with us in honor of the Winter Solstice with a warm and loving Cacao Ceremony led by Katrina Wiese

The, Winter Solstice, occurring around December 21st in the Northern Hemisphere, marks the longest night of the year and the return of light. It is a time of reflection, renewal, and celebration. A cacao Ceremony during this time can be a powerful way to connect with oneself and the natural world.

Structure of this Ceremony:
*Opening Circle-Gather and set intentions
*Cacao Blessing-Invoke the spirit of cacao and express gratitude
*Drinking Cacao-Sip the cacao Mindfully, allowing it to awaken the senses
*Dyadic WorK-Creating a safe environment
*Journal Prompts-Connect with inner self to set intentions for the coming year
*Shamanic Journey-Lead journey to connect with inner self and feelings
*Sound Healing-Promote relaxation, well-being, and healing
*Sharing Circle-Allowing participants to share their experiences and intentions
*Closing Circle-Conclude with gratitude and a ritual to symbolize the return of light
*Creative Expression-connecting with the traditions of the Winter Solstice

Setting the Space!
*You are welcome to bring a cozy blanket, closed water bottle, and a journal
*You may bring natural elements like candles, crystals, and plants to add to the alter
