Hey local Auburn/Opelika area friends: if you know any pregnant mamas who might want my help to prepare for childbirth, postpartum, and the newborn phase (not just for 1st time mamas), please share this with them.

Lee Obstetrics & Gynecology contracts me in to teach my childbirth/newborn class throughout the year and I wanted to share that we have two classes coming up!

If you’ve followed me for a while, you know that I’m the Health Services Director at Camp ASCCA on Lake Martin here in Alabama.

Camp ASCCA is a year-round camp that serves individuals ages 6 years + who have physical & intellectual disabilities. I’ve been involved with camp for over 20 years and Summer is our “go time”.

Soon we will pack up our family of 6 and move to camp where I help ensure the safety, health, & wellness of our campers and staff.

Motherhood wellbeing is at the forefront of what Magnolia Families is all about and I like to practice what I preach.

So, starting now through mid August, I will be focusing on Camp ASCCA and my family.

I hope you understand and please know that, if any of my services are something you need ASAP, reach out and I’ll guide you to a few people I absolutely trust to help you in my absence.

⭐️P.S. Get ready….Magnolia Families will be coming back bigger and better than ever in August.

In the meantime, take care of yourselves. We all deserve to give ourselves permission to take a break sometimes.

It doesn’t matter if you have a baby, a toddler, or older kids. It doesn’t matter if you have 1 child or 4. It matters to you, but don’t get caught up in comparing. We’re all going through it.

Motherhood is h.a.r.d.
