Recovery Coach Academy Classes

Healthy Acadia’s Maine Alliance for Recovery Coaching (MARC) is accepting registrations for Recovery Coach Academy sessions scheduled for June and July.

The CCAR Recovery Coach Academy (RCA) is a 4-day training program designed to provide interested community members with the knowledge, tools, and resources to become recovery coaches and for communities to become more informed and supportive of the recovery process.

In preparation of widespread sweltering heat and humidity, including a forecast calling for temperatures in the upper 90’s, the City of Augusta will be opening a daytime Cooling Center on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Augusta Civic Center – 76 Community Drive for those who need relief from the heat.

Enter through the South Entrance and follow the signage to the Cumberland Room. Please note: Only service animals are permitted.
