At Senior Helpers of Portage/Geauga, we don’t just offer care—we show up when it matters most.
A few days ago, Lynn Jones, co-owner and Client Services Director, visited a prospective client in the hospital. He’d been admitted unexpectedly, and his daughter, his only family, was away on a business trip. Lynn didn’t go to discuss services. She went because she knew he was alone.
No other home care agency they were speaking with had stopped by. But Lynn did.
When his daughter called to check in, he told her: “I only want Lynn and her team.” That moment said everything and we started care tonight.
We believe connection comes before service agreements. Trust is built through presence, not promises. And compassion isn’t a strategy—it’s our standard.
Lynn and I said before we opened our doors; profitability will always follow purpose. When you lead with heart, the rest takes care of itself, and no one has a bigger one than Lynn.
