Maura describes herself as the behind the scenes fixer who loves solving problems and supporting her colleagues. The annual Medical Directors Workshop in Cozumel Mexico continues to carry a unique energy. A wonderful group of people with strong presence and grounded perspectives.

It reflects exactly what Founder Dr. Jim Brand set out to build. An environment centered on support and genuine connection, where people come together naturally and the experience feels aligned from the first conversation to the last dinner. 💙

This year the group expanded with Gilberto Arbelaez, Bryan Dunn, April Garcia, Andrew Jatskiv, MD, Alfred Koenig, Nurani Kester, Lance Morris, Joe McDaniel, Jennifer Peterman, Zander Smith, M.D., Claudio Toledo, and Todd Francis whose presence added even more depth and balance to the trip. Dr. High brings a strong foundation in both academic excellence and compassionate care. He completed his undergraduate studies at Baylor University, earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch, and completed his residency at the University of Missouri Kansas City.
