TOFU & POTATO SCRAMBLE RECIPE💚
This is my favorite tofu scramble. It’s a delicious plant based breakfast option (or anytime really!) that’s simple and savory.
A flavorful tofu scramble is achieved with a few key ingredients. Let’s make it!
Serves 2
- Sauté 1/4 of yellow onion and 1/2 red pepper
- add a handful of small potatoes
While those are cooking, let’s make the tofu.
TOFU RECIPE:
Crumble 1 package of firm tofu into a bowl and add the following seasoning:
- 3/4 tspn Kala Namak
- 1/2 tspn Turmeric
- dash of Black Pepper
- dash of Crushed Red Pepper
- 1 tbsp Nutritional Yeast
- a few dashes of paprika
- a few dashes of onion powder
- a few dashes of garlic powder
- a few dash of oregano
Mix tofu thoroughly and add into pan with onions, peppers, and potatoes. Give everything a good stir and add a tiny bit of either veggie broth, plant milk, vegan butter, OR my favorite… Joe’s Hot & Sweet Jalapeño juice to keep everything moist.🔥
Mix again and cook down to a good scramble texture (about 5 - 10 minutes).
Add shredded cheddar cheese. Let this bubble and cook down for about another 5 minutes until it looks like the scramble texture you like best.
Ready to serve and devour!
